Shirt A
This design encapsulates the spirit and pride of Mountaineer Athletics by marrying lyrics from the song "Take Me Home, Country Roads" with illustrations of key landmarks in WVU sports – Milan Puskar Stadium and the WVU Coliseum. The phrase "Almost Heaven" not only pays homage to the state's natural beauty but also reflects the passion exhibited by fans at all Mountaineer sporting events.

Our beloved state and university are made up of the people who live, work and play here. The history and traditions of our past have guide our resolve. There is so much that makes us who we are. The words and ideas displayed within this design help illustrate those pieces and parts coming together to show who we are. Let's go.
Shirt C
Going for a homegrown feel, our design is based around elements and textures seen in the everyday life of a Mountaineer. Focusing on the Mountaineer statue, the design includes an image of Blackwater Falls at its core surrounded by elements such as "West Virginia" inspired by our iconic highway welcome sign bordered by two sets of road lines featuring sections of our state road map as an accent. To pull all of these elements together, the state outline with our Flying WV is found centered at the top, with "Almost Heaven" at the baseline referencing our traditional singing of "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver during WVU celebrations.
